Sump Pump Failure in Churchville, PA

This family was on vacation when a heavy rain storm came to our area. The sump pump failed affecting almost the entire finished basement. In this first photo, you can see the saturated carpet and padding. Our crew extracted as much water as possible before removing the delaminated carpet. After that, they removed the trim and drilled holes to aid in drying the drywall and then set equipment. As you can imagine, it was very stressful to come home from vacation to your basement affected with water.
